I honestly thought engraving would be way harder.

I'd never used anything like this before. I started with one of the stencil sheets and within about ten minutes I was engraving a little wooden sign. Now I'm looking around my house for things to personalize.

Finally found something to do besides scrolling.

I bought this because I wanted something creative to do in the evenings. I didn't expect to enjoy it this much. I'll put on some music and engrave for an hour without even noticing the time.

There's something so satisfying about making it yourself.

My first piece definitely wasn't perfect, but I actually loved that. Every project gets a little better and I'm genuinely proud of the things I'm making.

Small enough to keep around, useful enough that I actually do.

I already do a lot of crafts and this has quickly become one of those tools I keep reaching for. I've been using it to add little details to pieces that would otherwise feel unfinished.
